This role is for people who do not only deliver strong work themselves, but can lead quality across several projects. As a Lead Privacy & AI Governance Consultant, Life Sciences, you are responsible for quality, structure, review, delegation, methodology and the development of junior consultants.

This role is not only about delivering strong work yourself. You make others better and ensure client projects are structured, understandable and delivered reliably.

• Ensuring high quality standards across multiple client projects and workstreams.
• Reviewing, validating and giving constructive feedback on technical deliverables, including contracts, presentations and reports.
• Technically supervising, mentoring and evaluating junior consultants.
• Delegating work effectively while ensuring quality, consistency and timely delivery.
• Structuring complex client mandates, including scope, methodology, workplans and deliverables.
• Contributing to proposals, tenders and RFPs with clear and commercially relevant content.
• Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and improving internal methods, templates and documentation.
• Overseeing several parallel engagements.
• Communicating clearly with clients and internal stakeholders, and explaining complex regulatory topics to technical and non technical audiences.
• Working independently while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong experience in data protection applied to life sciences.
• The ability to lead quality across several projects or workstreams.
• Client facing experience, with review and quality ownership.
• Strong English, ownership and good judgement.
• The ability to structure and delegate work, with direct people management experience and experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Experience with DPIAs and risk analysis, contract review, DPO related work, training delivery, legal mapping or regulatory analysis.

You do not necessarily need to have held the title “Lead” before. What matters is that you can protect quality, structure work, guide others and manage clients professionally.

Experience with AI governance, the EU AI Act, tenders and RFPs, HIPAA, the Swiss FADP, CCPA/CPRA, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) or medical device regulations will be considered a strong asset.
